Over 100 Individuals Prepare to File New Allegations Against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

by | Oct 4, 2024

More than 100 men and women are preparing to file civil suits against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, according to Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee. During a press conference on Tuesday, Buzbee announced that his firm, The Buzbee Law Firm, along with the AVA Law Group, has been retained by over 120 individuals who claim to have been victimized by Combs and other associated individuals. The allegations, set to be filed in the coming weeks, range from violent sexual assault to sex trafficking.

Buzbee disclosed that half of the 120 individuals are men, while the other half are women. Disturbingly, 25 of these alleged victims were minors at the time of the incidents. The claims are said to stem from incidents that occurred in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami during parties and music industry-related auditions. Some of the cases will include accusations of rape, sexual abuse, facilitating sex with controlled substances, and false imprisonment. The firm expects to start filing these cases within the next 30 days after completing a vetting process.

Combs, who has already been indicted on federal charges, including sex trafficking, has pleaded not guilty. His legal team strongly denies the allegations, labeling them as false and defamatory. “Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors,” said his attorney, Erica Wolff, in a statement. Wolff also reiterated that Combs is prepared to defend himself in court, where his team believes the truth will be established based on evidence.

Buzbee noted that over 55% of the victims had previously reported the alleged conduct to authorities or hospitals. His firm is actively working to collect those records, ensuring that each case will have substantial evidence before proceeding. Buzbee also clarified that these lawsuits will not be filed as a class action; instead, each case will be filed individually in various states. Combs is not the only defendant expected to be named in the suits, as Buzbee’s team continues to investigate other individuals and entities involved.

Combs, who has already faced multiple civil suits, is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, awaiting trial on criminal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. His legal team is appealing for his release as the investigation by federal authorities remains ongoing.
