Aruba’s Eagle Beach Gets a Makeover in Final Phase of Beautification Project

by | May 2, 2024

Aruba (May 2, 2024) – The popular Eagle Beach in Aruba is undergoing a significant transformation as the final phases of a major beautification project get underway. Announced in 2023 by Minister Dangui Oduber, the initiative aims to enhance the entire Eagle Beach strip, elevating Aruba’s tourism product in the process.

The project focuses on creating a more uniform and aesthetically pleasing landscape. White flowers and stones will be added throughout the strip, complemented by the construction of additional sushi bars. This will not only improve the overall look and feel of the area but also provide visitors with more dining options.

Additionally, the project prioritizes improved organization and waste management strategies for the Eagle Beach strip. This collaborative effort between the Tourism Product Enhancement Fund (TPEF), the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), the Department of Public Works (DOW), and local hotel properties ensures a sustainable approach to maintaining the area’s beauty.

“We believe in public-private partnerships,” Minister Oduber remarked, highlighting the collaborative spirit behind the project. “Working together, we can truly elevate the Aruba product.”

The project is nearing completion, with phases 4 and 5 currently underway near Costa Linda. Minister Oduber expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between all partners involved in bringing this vision to life. The beautification project is expected to transform Eagle Beach into a more enjoyable and visually striking destination for Aruba’s visitors and residents alike.
