Ali Heibati, an MMA fighter, has been handed a lifetime ban from the Hard Fighting Championship (HFC) after a shocking incident where he kicked a ring girl and a commentator following his loss in the first round.
The altercation occurred during Heibati’s fight against Arkady Osipyan at the Hardcore MMA tournament in Moscow. Prior to the bout, Heibati kicked a ring girl from behind as she walked past holding up a card signaling the start of the opening round. The woman expressed her surprise and anger as the referee intervened to separate them and warned Heibati about his behavior.
Despite the warning, Heibati went on to lose the fight to Osipyan in the first round, with the bout lasting only 30 seconds before the referee called it off. However, as Osipyan walked back to his corner, Heibati launched a sudden attack on his opponent, landing multiple cheap shots while Osipyan’s back was turned. It took several people to intervene and separate the two fighters.
Following the contest, Heibati grabbed the microphone and expressed his frustration before aiming another kick, this time towards a commentator. He then engaged in a heated exchange of words with the commentator. Additionally, footage has emerged showing Heibati being attacked by members of the crowd after his loss.
The incident has sparked outrage within the MMA community, leading to swift action from the Hard Fighting Championship. Heibati’s actions not only resulted in his lifetime ban from the organization but also tarnished the reputation of the sport. Such behavior is widely condemned and goes against the principles of fair play and sportsmanship upheld in MMA competitions.
The Hard Fighting Championship has emphasized its commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants and spectators. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of upholding integrity and discipline in combat sports, and the consequences of failing to do so.
