Through LabHost, these criminals orchestrated the theft of a staggering 500,000 credit card details and pilfered 1.2 million passwords, plunging countless victims into financial jeopardy and digital insecurity.

Led by the vigilant efforts of law enforcement agencies in London, and in close collaboration with Europol and the FBI, a coordinated crackdown resulted in the apprehension of 37 suspects worldwide, with five of them caught red-handed on Dutch soil. The meticulous investigation, which commenced in 2022, culminated in over 70 meticulously executed raids, unveiling the extent of the network’s operations.

In the Netherlands, where 18 countries joined forces in the pursuit of justice, law enforcement officials conducted intensive searches of six residences, unearthing a trove of incriminating evidence, including data storage devices, SIM cards, and even firearms. Among the apprehended suspects, ranging in age from 21 to 36, the authorities have taken decisive action to stem the tide of cybercrime.
