Flip Flop Festival Returns to Aruba with KES The Band, Dj Latu, Ziggy Recado and More

Aruba, get ready to flip flop! The beloved Flip Flop Festival is making a comeback on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 at Bushiri Beach Arena. After a hiatus since 2018, Chill Beers and Elite Empire Entertainment are bringing back the music and fun for the island’s ninth edition of the festival.

This year’s Flip Flop Festival promises two stages packed with a diverse lineup of international and local artists. Soca fans will be thrilled to see KES The Band, one of the genre’s most popular groups, live in Aruba. Fresh off their new album release “Man with No Door,” featuring collaborations with Shaggy and Busy Signal, KES is sure to bring the energy.

The party doesn’t stop there. Dutch DJ Latu and Steve Andreas will take the stage with a unique show, while legendary reggae artist Ziggy Recado & The Nayamari Band will deliver a special performance. Local talents like Tsunami, Mystical Connection, and Nutzbeatz will also be showcased throughout the festival.

Flip Flop Festival will feature a special “Caribang Stage” with additional surprises from both local and international artists. With two areas to explore and a mix of musical styles that includes reggae icon Ziggy Recado, there’s something for everyone at this island bash.
