by | Apr 12, 2024

Formula 1 enthusiasts can mark their calendars as the sport gears up for an action-packed 2025 season, set to commence with the Australian Grand Prix for the first time since 2019. The eagerly awaited schedule, comprising 24 races, promises an exhilarating journey for drivers and fans alike.

The decision to shift the season opener to Australia comes as Bahrain and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix are rescheduled to April due to the timing of Ramadan next year. This adjustment provides a fitting opportunity for Australia to reclaim its position as the inaugural race of the season, slated to take place from March 14-16.

Notably, the 2025 calendar mirrors that of the previous year, maintaining the same 24 circuits that captivated audiences worldwide. However, there have been significant changes to the order of races, injecting fresh excitement into the championship’s 75th anniversary edition.

Following the Australian Grand Prix, the circuit will travel to China for the second race, followed by Japan, which retains its spring slot from the previous season. Bahrain and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will then take center stage in April, setting the stage for a thrilling start to the championship battle.

Formula 1 President Stefano Domenicali expressed anticipation for the upcoming season, emphasizing the significance of commemorating the 75th anniversary of the FIA Formula One World Championship. He highlighted the sport’s rich legacy and expertise in delivering top-class racing, hospitality, and entertainment to millions of fans worldwide.

As the countdown to the 2025 season begins, anticipation is building among fans eager to witness the world’s premier racing series unfold across iconic circuits. With an electrifying lineup of races and a celebration of Formula 1’s storied history on the horizon, the stage is set for another unforgettable season of high-speed thrills and adrenaline-fueled action.
