Let’s celebrate the love we have for our Anthem and Flag

A greeting to Aruba for this grand celebration!

Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes sincerely sends her wishes to all of Aruba for Flag and Anthem Day. This is a day to reflect and celebrate the pride of being Aruban. To celebrate the love we have for our beautiful Aruba. To celebrate the respect we have for our anthem and our flag.

In recent days, the Prime Minister visited schools and saw how they are preparing for this important day. She expressed great satisfaction seeing how well the children are prepared. They showed their knowledge of Aruba’s culture and history and have always shown curiosity to learn more about their beautiful island. The Prime Minister sends heartfelt thanks to those who instill this love in our children.

“Let’s celebrate Aruba, let’s celebrate our unity, our achievements and the pride of being Aruban. With Faith, optimism and determination, we will continue to work to move Aruba forward. Happy Aruba on our Flag and Anthem Day,” the Prime Minister expressed with great pride.

Around our island there are various activities related to our Flag and Anthem Day. On behalf of the Government and the Committee for the Celebration of National Days (CCDN), there will be a Cultural Event on March 17th at Plaza Libertador Betico Croes starting at 6:00 pm, where there will be different cultural entertainment as well as traditional food and drinks. There will also be a sale of handicrafts. On March 18th, Flag and Anthem Day, there will be the Protocol Ceremony which will take place at Plaza Libertador Betico Croes starting at 9:00 am. This will be followed by the traditional march of uniformed groups.

On behalf of the Government of Aruba, the Prime Minister invites the entire population to attend our traditional activities and celebrate Flag and Anthem Day in unity. Happy Flag and Anthem Day!
